Shipping policy
At this time we only ship within the continental United States (we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or the US territories). We cannot deliver to P.O. box locations or military APO/FPO addresses. All shipping prices are in US dollars.
Upon placement of your order, you will receive notification via email. When the item is shipped a tracking number will be emailed showing the status of your package. You will also receive a notification email when your order is "Out for Delivery" and an email when your order has been "Delivered". Contact us immediately when you receive this delivery notification if your package was not delivered and/or is missing. We require you to contact us within 5 business days regarding any delivery issues so that we may have time to contact the shipping carrier to investigate and resolve the issue in a timely manner. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday (holidays excluded), and will leave our location in 5-10 business days, unless otherwise noted. We will contact you on special order items and back-ordered items so you are aware of the shipping time. We do our best to get your items processed and shipped quickly, but sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, a delay may occur. We are a very small shop and there may be some delays in shipping if we are out of town.
To conserve materials, we prefer to ship in as few boxes as possible, but in the event that one or more of your items require additional processing time, we will ship available items as soon as possible.
Shipping charges are based on the amount of your purchase. We reserve the right to choose the most economical carrier, which may mean your order is shipped "ground" and could take up to nine business days to reach you. If you would like your item shipping "express" please reach out and we can give you an estimated cost. It may require additional charges that you would be responsible for.
Some larger or heavier items may cost more to ship and additional shipping charges may need to be added. In this case, you will be contacted, via email, prior to shipping.
At this time we do not ship the following items:
- Lamps
-Chandeliers
-Mirrors
-Clocks
-Furniture
-Large glass items
Please double check the shipping address you enter during the checkout process. Roost is not responsible for lost or damaged items or additional shipping costs resulting from orders shipped to the wrong address, due to customer error. Roost is not responsible for lost items, if you do not receive your items it is your responsibility to contact the carrier to resolve any lost packages. Roost is not responsible for items lost or damaged during "forwarding" to any address other than the one provided to us during the checkout process.
